How fitting that the federal case against the performative former FBI Director is surrounded by drama and deception. Just like his corrupt stint at the FBI.
Comey built his career on moral preening while corrupting every institution he touched. Russia hoax. Leaks. Memos. Anonymous accounts. Curtain hiding. Media manipulation. Now the same man wants the benefit of innocent explanation for a threat-coded anti-Trump post. Fine. Let a jury hear it. Let Sammy the Bull explain what “86” means. Let prosecutors show the device trail, the remote beach location, the wife’s search, the timing, and Comey’s credibility problem. The case is wild because Comey is wild. The former FBI saint now gets the system he helped weaponize. Good. Let it bite.
It has been said many times here and elsewhere, but bears repeating, “in the halls of justice the only justice is in the halls.” But! We can all hope that before a jury of his “peers” that James Comey is found guilty. That he is sentenced and after numerous appeals is sent off to some nice Camp Fed in the Pocono’s where he can teach sea shell design classes. Maybe he can call one of the victims of one of his greatest prosecutions Martha Stewart and ask what other hobbies he might learn whilst in the crowbar hotel. He ought not be surprised if Ms. Stewart doesn’t return his calls or emails….
Great comment- I especially love the Martha Stewart reference because he did her so dirty on that bogus “insider trading” thing! Comey is such a fraud and a liar I hope he gets convicted!
Justice for the smug, arrogant, corrupt, narcissistic psychopath Comey cannot come soon enough. Never forget what he did to President Trump and the honorable Michael Flynn just days into Trump's first term and then bragged about it. Just despicable! Why has it taken this long to prosecute him? Just maddening! He should have had a 5 AM raid with search warrant in hand days after he posted his threat against President Trump.
agreed. we can't forget. none of us could possibly forget the far more aggregious criminal acts of this reprobate.
and that raises a serious question:
why isn't the current DOJ forming a grand jury and filing criminal complaints against him for those crimes?
it is incredibly frustrating for all of us that the DOJ has chosen THIS...effing seashells and a vague allegation that is unlikely to be winnable, as the case against Comey.
If I didn't know better, the current DOJ is just as corrupt as the former. fight me.
I have to wonder what his fellow attorneys thought/said of him easier in his career?
The James Comey we've all come to know and love, did not just happen, it took years of work to achieve it. We all remember July 2016: Closing the First Hillary Clinton E-mail Investigation. What a Shock it was.
No and the key word is ‘polished’. There are other good liars like Brennan, Clapper, Strozk…the list goes on but none as psychologically influential by his apparent charm as Comey. Put this self aggrandizing monster in prison, please!!! Let Trump pick out his prison uniform!
Weissman, monaco, mueller, shiffface, peloser, schmucker, ratskin, strikeout, mcscab, brennan? I have a very long list. As smug polished liar, Comey is mediocre compared to many of these reprobates. run of the mill, but very much a punchable face...all of them.
My only hope is Comey is held responsible and serves time in prison. Due to past corrupt politicians that have done much worse and escaped without consequences, I am not at all confident Comey will be prosecuted and serves time in time. We can only hope!
Comey is also remarkable as a seemingly smart guy (genius in his mind) who has to cite the failure of his memory for not answering questions more than 100 times in a single testimony before Congress. One hopes the two guys in south Florida include him in the conspiracy case, too.
The following books I read when they were released. One particular incident referenced in each book caught my attention. I read another book that also gave information on that hospital room and two visitors but I can’t find in my library and will not mention because not able to validate.
“True Faith andf Allegiance” Albert R. Gonzales. Incident mentioned: page 317-318
I don't know how brief this will be but I will do my best to relay why I made that comment.
1. John Ashcroft was in hospital ill
2. Ashcroft was told he was no longer AG
3. James Comey is acting AG
4 Bush, Cheney, Gonzales were unaware of points 2&3
5 Points 1-4 can be found in Chapter 28 The Infamous Hospital Visit of Gonzales Autobiography “True Faith and Allegiance”
6. TERRORIST Surveillance Program about to expire
7. Ashcroft had recommended renewal.
8. James Comey as acting AG was going to resign along with bunch of other justice department officials as well as FBI Director Bob Mueller because of extension of TSP
9. Crisis point in Bush administration
10. Bush decided to accommodate Justice Department concern by modifying the part of the program they found problematic while leaving the TSP in place.
Key words in my mind : decided to accommodate Justice Department / modify part of program (JD) found problematic.
11. Points 6-10 can be found in Chapter 6 War Footing in Bush autobiography “Decision Point”
12. The exact pages were provided in previous comment.
13 My OPINION after reading two different books by two different political figures and coming across the same material from their perspective; SOMETHING WAS SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE! Two men write their autobiography and have remembrance of an incident that involved James Comey.
14. OPINION I HOLD: I seem to remember reading that James Comey made the statement at one time he had once been a member of the Communist Party. James Comey is not a man to be trusted! He is not a patriot nor does he support a Constitutional Republic.
Comey has always considered himself above the law because he thought of himself as the law and one who makes the law. He’s so full of himself it’s no wonder a relative finally pointed out how reckless and careless he is. I anticipate great antics at the trial. Popcorn will be ready. Now let’s do Brennan, Clapper and the rest of his mob!
Julie, will you be in North Carolina for the trial? I’d love to see you get a ringside seat since you have always been the best reporter on all this deep state 💩. Although Comey deserves the max, if he is convicted I’d settle for him doing even just 6 months in a real prison. Just some accountability so we know there is justice left in this world!

Julie, How can you assume Jim Comey isn’t telling the truth? He only lies when his lips move! 😂😂😎😎
By attempting to get a chuckle out of the leftist crowd, Comey’s too cute by half action may get him in real trouble.

Such sick people. Nauseating
Is there a more SMUG POLISHED liar!

Hell, I’ve known was 86 has meant for many years. Anyone who reads murder mysteries is very familiar with those numbers.
Comey is absolute SCUM

“Decision Points” George Bush Pages 172-174
“The Russian Hoax” Gregg Garrett pg 266
Victim: AG John Ashcroft
Perpetrator: James Comey
For those of us who don't have those books, would you consider briefly stating what is on each of those pages referenced?
I don't know how brief this will be but I will do my best to relay why I made that comment.

Thank you for your thorough response.
What a resurgence of scoundrels of the past! sammy the bull, patrick fitzgerald...it's like old times again!
